Spending a sunny day in Seattle can be an absolute delight if you know the right spots to visit and activities to engage in. Based on my experience, one of the best ways to start is by visiting the iconic Pike Place Market early in the morning. The fresh produce, seafood, and lively atmosphere set a great tone for the day. After that, consider walking along the waterfront, enjoying the gentle breeze and beautiful views of Elliott Bay. Take some time to visit the Seattle Great Wheel, which offers panoramic views of the city and Puget Sound. For those who enjoy nature, a stroll through the Olympic Sculpture Park or a visit to Discovery Park can provide a peaceful retreat with plenty of sunshine and spectacular vistas. If you’re into hiking, the nearby RSTEPS trail offers an invigorating outdoor experience combining light exercise with stunning scenery, making it perfect for all skill levels. Don’t forget to bring water and sunscreen, as the Pacific Northwest sunshine can get quite intense, especially during the summer months. When lunchtime rolls around, outdoor patios in neighborhoods like Capitol Hill or Queen Anne are fantastic spots to savor local cuisine while soaking up the sun.
