Our 13 days honeymoon: pt 2 - Exploring Malmo city

A Day in Malmö: Castles & Submarines 🚶‍♂️🏰

After a quick coach bus ride from Copenhagen, we arrived in Malmö—where everything is within walking distance, making the city super chill to explore on foot.

We grabbed a combo pass for just 100 SEK (around $14 SGD), giving us access to both the Malmö Museum and Malmö Castle. Honestly, these two spots kept us busy the entire day!

🔦 The museum’s highlight? Climbing inside a REAL submarine! It’s surreal imagining life down there...definitely one for adventure seekers.

🏰 Malmö Castle takes you straight back to medieval times, complete with a visit to its mysterious basement. So much history and so many stories hidden in those walls.

Our Accoms : Moment Hotels Malmo

Our stay in Malmö was short but sweet, after exploring these massive attractions, we realized that this laidback city is best enjoyed at a slow pace.

Not much else to check out, but perfect for a restful day.

The Malmö Maritime Museum offers a fascinating insight into Sweden’s naval history, especially the unique experience of stepping inside a working submarine—it really puts into perspective how sailors lived and worked underwater. For history buffs like me, Malmö Castle is a treasure trove with its ancient architecture, mysterious basements, and even a small zoo that adds charm to the visit. We stayed at the cozy Moment Hotels Malmo, which was conveniently located and provided a lovely breakfast spread to start our day right. Aside from the main attractions, Malmö’s compact city center is great for walking off the day’s adventures, with serene gardens and the iconic Turning Torso building as scenic backdrops. Although it’s a smaller, laid-back city, Malmö’s rich cultural spots and easy mobility make it perfect for travelers who appreciate history without the hustle. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply looking to unwind, Malmö offers a peaceful retreat with memorable experiences around every corner.

weekend on the amalfi coast ⛱️🐚
Started our Italy honeymoon with a weekend on the Amalfi Coast. Since it’s our first time there, it was tempting to spend more time there and to hit as many towns as possible. However looking back, I’m glad we took it slow which allowed us to soak up the most of being there. We eventually only visi
