Grade 9 English Language GCSE

I started revising English Language at Easter and still got a Grade 9.

The biggest difference?

I focused on Question 5.

Instead of writing random stories every time, I built one strong idea, improved it, and practised adapting it to different questions.

By the exam, I already knew:

– how to start

– how to structure

– what examiners are looking for

That’s why I got 40/40.

Most students lose marks because they:

– don’t plan properly

– focus on the story instead of the writing

– don’t use a clear structure

If you fix that, your marks jump.
