GARDEN ✨updates✨
Some more garden updates for you all! It has been raining basically nonstop here and on the days it isn’t it’s overcast, does not make for a very good growing season when there’s no SUN!
Nonetheless, my flower garden is taking off, I was able to harvest out my lettuce heads (definitely need more space next year), and everything else seems to be doing well!
Still hoping to get some basil this year. The stuff that was growing that I thought was basil turned out to just be a weed that took over so I planted some new seeds in hopes I will get some to come up.

As gardening enthusiasts know, the weather plays a significant role in plant growth and productivity. With incessant rain and overcast skies, many gardeners face challenges, but creativity and resourcefulness can make a difference. Emphasizing the importance of crop rotation and planning ahead is essential for ensuring a bountiful harvest next year. It’s also wise to diversify your plantings, such as incorporating chamomile for its benefits as a companion plant, which can enhance the growth of tomatoes and other vegetables. When cultivating basil, ensure proper soil drainage and sun exposure, as this herb thrives in warm conditions. Clearing away weeds early allows space for your desired plants and prevents competition for resources. Don’t hesitate to seek out gardening forums and local gardening groups, where sharing experiences related to pest control, soil management, and seasonal planting can help you navigate through common issues. Overall, staying engaged with fellow gardeners enhances knowledge and community support. Happy gardening, and may your plants flourish despite the seasonal trials!
