Happy Black Herstory Month
Yes, Herstory you heard that correctly! I’ve spoken at schools, I’ve written books. I am glad to say that my writing has improved drastically & I am proud of myself for that. I’ve always knew I wanted to be a writer when I was ALWAYS reading goosebumps. Junie B; jones. Etc. like I was sooooo fascinated with reading. I have no clue why but I just did.
Reading for me made things easier to comprehend. The way authors wrote their stories. Why they used certain words to emphasize certain points being made. I found that to be interesting. I took on a lot of things when I was younger. Track was one of em. 😌 I stopped running track at a point in time though ( didn’t feel motivated enough to continue however, I was nice on the track). Track was my favorite sport. ( STILL IS).
I still want to publish the book of the dentist. I think that’s a book that children at the young ages of 11-15 would enjoy. It gives goosebumps & tbh I truly been inspired by R.L. Stine
