While most people see chaos, my brain sees 47 tabs open & somehow knows exactly where everything is. (Sometimes) 😂
I’m raising a toddler, running a business, working full-time, building a homestead, creating content, writing books, earning degrees & somehow remembering that the chickens need fed and the laundry needs switched… all before lunch.
My brain doesn’t always slow down, but it’s the reason I can multitask like my life depends on it.
ADHD isn’t my weakness, it’s the reason I can dream big, juggle a million things at once & keep showing up for the life I’m building.
Exhausting? Absolutely.

Living with ADHD while managing nursing school and a busy home life is an intense yet rewarding experience. From my personal journey, I've realized that treating ADHD as a superpower rather than a setback allows me to embrace my unique cognitive style and maximize productivity. For instance, I use the fact that my brain holds what feels like dozens of open tabs simultaneously to keep track of assignments, appointments, and family duties without missing a beat. One helpful strategy has been structuring my day with flexible time blocks, which accommodate moments of hyperfocus but also respect mental fatigue. This balance helps me avoid burnout, which is common among those juggling ADHD and demanding schedules like nursing school. Additionally, I rely heavily on visual reminders and digital planners to organize my multifaceted responsibilities. Feeding chickens and switching laundry might seem minor in the grand scheme, but completing these small tasks offers a sense of accomplishment and normalcy amidst academic pressure. It’s these routine chores that ground me. Multitasking is not just a necessity but a skill strengthened by ADHD; it lets me move quickly from writing content to studying nursing material or caring for my toddler. However, I acknowledge that this can be exhausting, so self-care practices like short mindfulness breaks and sufficient sleep are essential to maintain overall wellness. Most importantly, embracing ADHD as a strength fosters resilience and creativity. It empowers me to dream big and consistently show up for everything I care about.
