Just a girl & a rainy day kayak in paradise
Forever marked on my brain, kayaking here should be on your bucket list! Coron, Palawan in the Phillipines was a dream! Kayaking in this area of the Palawan is a must 💕. Even in rainy weather it's mind blowing, the clear stunning water and rock formations will take your breath away. Make sure you have snorkels too - so much coral and marine life to enjoy! Best super early in the a.m when you have it to yourself. We stayed at local tribe owned houseboats so we could! Kayaking in Coron, Palawan truly offers an enchanting experience, even when the weather isn’t sunny. From my recent adventure, the rain only added to the magic by softening the landscape and intensifying the vibrant emerald green hues of the water—truly the kind of emerald green you never forget. One tip I learned is to start early in the morning. The calm waters and absence of crowds make it feel like your own private paradise. The quiet early hours allowed me to fully appreciate the fascinating rock formations and the crystal-clear water. Bringing snorkel gear is essential since you can explore colorful coral reefs teeming with diverse marine life, adding another unforgettable dimension to your trip. Another highlight worth mentioning is the experience of staying on local tribe-owned houseboats. This not only supports the community but also provides a unique perspective on local culture and lifestyle. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and waking up on the water was an unforgettable part of the adventure. Don’t let a little rain deter you from visiting Coron. In fact, the rainy weather offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere that contrasts with the typical tourist crowd. Pack waterproof gear and embrace the elements for a truly different yet equally mesmerizing kayaking experience in paradise.
