Filiplaka Beach Milos - what you need to know
*Getting There - IMO I think hiring a car or ATV is best- yes you can catch a bus from Adamas but the bus stop is a fair walk (15-20 mins) down & then back up a steep hill and remember, it’s hot. *Parking - it’s roadside parking only, often super tight spots, it’s all sand & dirt tracks,

So good…Business Class? Never heard of her!
That feeling when the flight crew says “boarding is completed” and you have a row of empty seats 💃✨💪 Oh yeah…this was my Bangkok to Sydney flight this week. Plus the flight cost was pretty cheap too. Interestingly the business class area of this flight was pretty full. #flying #travel #travell

Call me ‘old-school’ but…
This little lesser know pocket of Bangkok is still my personal favourite! Yes, it's a nostalgic area for me (I came here the first time over 30yrs ago!) But I still think it's gold and every time i'm in Bangkok I make sure to spend some time here: Some Tips: 1. visit in the day / after

It’s good but is it the best?
We tried most hyped Mango Sticky Rice place in Bangkok - we’re kinda obsessed with this yummy thai desert so when we saw the Wanjai Cafe House all over social media, we had to go there! - The cafe really was very cute - for the aesthetics alone it’s worth going. Great little retro / vintage touch

Our best three places to try - Koh Lipe
1. You’re spoilt for choice on Koh Lipe when it comes to amazing food, coffee, bars etc 2. My husband eats everything but i’m a vegetarian and i was so happy to discover loads of options for me too! 3. If you love fresh fish, you are going to be in heaven on Koh Lipe - the fish BBQ’s are gold.

Husband interviews wife re: Koh Lipe
1. After travelling to Thailand over 20 times - I finally made it to koh Lipe. Wish it didn’t take me so long to get there- honestly it’s a bit of pain to get too but totally worth it 2 Koh Lipe is the closest Thai island to the Malaysian boarder. 3 We flew into Malaysia, with a quick stop in K

And I almost didn’t go!!
Oh my, Laos was such a surprise package! Two main places to visit: 1. Luang Prabang - i would totally go again but stay longer next time - spend time enjoying the quiet serenity of life along the Mekong River and do more exploring of the jungle areas near the waterfalls. 2. Vang Vieng - glad i

Rainy season in Boracay? Yes or No?
Absolutely YES! It means cheaper rooms & flights plus not as many people but of course maybe rain. Things to know: 1. Where you stay in Boracay matters. We preferred station Three. Less crowded, more intimate restaurants. Short walk to busy areas but away enough to avoid the noise 2. Loved @V

It's the little moments for me ✨
Early mornings on Milo's Island hits different. Gentle breeze, sun peeping over the hill and kissing the water. September in Milos is beautiful, very windy but definitely beautiful. #milos #greecetravel #Lemon8Diary

Palawan in Rainy Season?
To go or not to go? My answer is, Yes! However, keep in mind: > Weather is super changeable - you will get heavy rain (like crazy tropical deluge kinda rain) which then very quickly will turn into a hot sunny day without a cloud in the sky. So plan for both 🌧️🌈☀️ > Typhoons and earthquakes

A little Gem on Milos that lives up to the hype✨
1. Mandrakia, is a stunning little fishing village built around a tiny harbour and located on the North Coast of Milos Island, Cyclades. 2. Perfect on a windy day (and there's lots of windy days on Milos) it's popular among sun bakers. 3. Getting there - Best way is by car, the buses are
