So good…Business Class? Never heard of her!
That feeling when the flight crew says “boarding is completed” and you have a row of empty seats 💃✨💪 Oh yeah…this was my Bangkok to Sydney flight this week. Plus the flight cost was pretty cheap too. Interestingly the business class area of this flight was pretty full. #flying #travel #travelling #over50 #travelhacks
Traveling long-haul can often feel cramped, especially when flying economy class. However, my recent experience flying from Bangkok to Sydney turned out surprisingly comfortable because I had a row of empty seats almost to myself. This made the 9-hour journey much more enjoyable than I expected. One advantage of less-than-full economy cabins is the opportunity to stretch out, rest, and even sleep in a more relaxed manner. If you're lucky enough to find empty seats on either side, it practically feels like having your own mini business class without the extra cost. Always keep an eye during boarding; sometimes, flights aren’t fully booked, and flight crews may allow passengers to move to unoccupied seats. Interestingly, while I enjoyed so much space in economy, the business class section on my flight was quite full, which goes to show that not everyone can afford or opts for premium seating. For budget travelers, this is great news since you can sometimes snag a much more comfortable economy experience. I also recommend booking flights in advance and checking the airline’s seat map frequently before departure. Some apps and websites can alert you to how full a flight is, giving you a better chance to select seats with extra space or strike it lucky with empty rows. This experience reminded me that sometimes you don't need to fly business class to enjoy comfort. Smart planning and a bit of luck can turn economy travel into a relaxed journey. And yes, it feels like a small win when the flight crew announces boarding is complete and you realize you can virtually stretch out all by yourself!
