🧁DARK CHOCOLATE SILK - 4.5/5 ⭐
Creamy, velvety, and wrapped in a light, soft sponge that didn’t feel too dense. The cocoa was well-balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. The chocolate core was rich enough to make it feel indulgent. I don’t usually care for Swiss rolls, but this one was a very solid exception.
👫WORTH THE WAIT - 3.5/5 ⭐
Yes only if you really like Swiss rolls or manage to catch the queue at the right time. It’s a good try, and definitely one of the fluffier, creamier Swiss rolls we’ve had. If you’re a proper Swiss roll person, this is worth checking out.
🍬SWEETNESS BALANCE - 4.5/5 ⭐
Very well-balanced. Not overly sweet, not too bitter either. The cocoa helps keep everything in check, which makes it easy to enjoy even for someone who usually doesn’t like very sweet cakes.

QUEUE - Queues get long during peak hours, so take note of the flavour timings before the one you want disappears.
SEATING - The City Square branch doesn’t have much seating, so this is more of a grab-and-go situation.
FOOD - Store it in the fridge once you can, because it melts quite easily. Thankfully, they give you a thermal bag, which helps delay the panic.

Given the small seating area at the City Square branch, it's best to treat your order as grab-and-go, especially if you want to savor it in a relaxed setting elsewhere. I found that storing the roll in the provided thermal bag helped maintain its texture during the short trip back. Also, don't overlook the little details Ticco provides, like forks, knives, and plates, which enhance the eating experience on the spot or outdoors. Their attention to presentation reflects the premium branding that has helped Ticco gain a cult following. Lastly, for those who are not typically fans of Swiss rolls, the balanced sweetness and velvety texture of the Dark Chocolate Silk could win you over. The richness isn't overwhelming, and the light cocoa sponge is a pleasant surprise. Definitely an indulgence worth making special!
