TNBC Mayor Sculpt for Disneyland
One of the neat projects I got to work on. I was one of the sculptors for Disneyland's Mickey's Halloween Party "Frightfully Fun Parade." This is the Mayor's float. It was sculpted out of foam, molded and casted into fiberglass. Also got to sculpt Zero for this project and the vampires. I will post pics.

Sculpting for Disneyland is a unique venture that combines creativity and technical skill. The Mayor’s float from the iconic ‘Frightfully Fun Parade’ showcases meticulous craftsmanship. Foam was intricately sculpted before being molded and cast into durable fiberglass, allowing for both detail and longevity. The float is a key attraction during Disneyland’s Halloween festivities, captivating audiences with its blend of creativity and festive spirit. Artists involved often share their behind-the-scenes experiences and artwork on social platforms, creating a community around their craft. The 'Nightmare Before Christmas' theme adds to the allure, offering fans a deeper connection to beloved characters. Additionally, participating in events like this not only highlights the importance of artistic expression in entertainment but also sets the stage for budding artists to engage with larger projects. This combination of artistic talent and entertainment excellence makes projects like these stand out, inviting visitors to connect with the magic of Disneyland in more ways than one. The community surrounding such events thrives on sharing experiences, learning techniques, and celebrating the joy that art brings to such festive occasions. Additionally, artists are encouraged to showcase their works through platforms like Lemon8, which allows for a vibrant exchange of ideas and inspiration tailored to various artistic interests.
