LORD HELP ME TO HOLD OUT

Great Morning All 💞 with Gratitude.

Prayer: "Be Ready for the Rapture"

Lord, prepare my heart for Your return.

Let me not be distracted by the noise of this world,

But awakened by Your Spirit,

Watchful and faithful in every moment.

Cleanse me, renew me, and align me with Your will.

Let my thoughts be holy, my actions pure,

And my love for You unwavering.

I surrender every fear, every delay, every doubt.

Make me bold in truth, gentle in grace,

And steadfast in the hope of Your coming.

When the trumpet sounds, let me be found ready

~

Clothed in righteousness,

Filled with Your Spirit,

And rejoicing in Your glory.

Amen.

Thank you, Jesus 🩸

Luke 21:36 ~ KJV

... Read moreI know that feeling, the one where you just want to cry out, 'LORD HELP ME TO HOLD OUT!' It’s a powerful plea, isn't it? This phrase, which is even part of the artwork that accompanies this prayer, truly captures the heart's yearning for divine strength when life feels overwhelming. We all face moments when our faith is tested, whether by daily struggles, unexpected trials, or the sheer weight of worldly distractions. For me, 'holding out' isn't just about enduring; it's about actively clinging to hope and God's promises when everything around me feels shaky. It’s a daily decision to keep my eyes fixed on Him, just as the prayer says, to not be distracted by the 'noise of this world.' How do we do that practically? First and foremost, it starts with consistent connection. That means diving into Scripture, finding verses that speak to my spirit, and making prayer a non-negotiable part of my day. The prayer shared here, 'Be Ready for the Rapture,' is a beautiful blueprint. It reminds me to ask for a cleansed heart, renewed spirit, and alignment with God's will. When I struggle to 'hold out,' I often find it's because I've let my spiritual disciplines slip. Re-engaging with daily devotionals and quiet time helps anchor me. Another crucial aspect of 'holding out' in this journey of faith, especially as we consider being 'Rapture Ready,' is cultivating a watchful and faithful heart. This isn't about fear, but about living with intentionality. It means being mindful of my thoughts and actions, asking myself if they align with what God desires. The prayer beautifully states, 'Let my thoughts be holy, my actions pure, and my love for You unwavering.' This isn't always easy, but it’s a goal I strive for. When doubts or fears creep in, I consciously surrender them, just as the prayer encourages. I remind myself that His grace is sufficient, and He’s given me the Holy Spirit to guide me. Community also plays a huge role. Sharing my struggles and victories with fellow believers gives me strength and accountability. We're not meant to 'hold out' alone. Encouragement from others reminds me that I'm part of a larger body, all striving for the same Kingdom Mindset. Ultimately, 'Lord help me to hold out' is a declaration of dependence. It's recognizing that my own strength is limited, but His is infinite. It's about remembering the hope of His coming, the promise of His return, and letting that hope fuel my perseverance through every challenge. It means living each day with expectation, striving to be found 'clothed in righteousness, filled with Your Spirit, and rejoicing in Your glory' when that trumpet sounds. This isn't a passive waiting game; it's an active, hopeful, and faith-filled journey. Every time I pray 'Lord help me to hold out,' I'm reaffirming my trust in His unfailing love and His divine plan for my life.
