Why I Wait 30 Days Before Decorating🌟

hi friends!!

whenever I move into a new space, I love to follow a rule called the 30-Day Rule before i 100% start decorating!

i wait 30 days before buying decor or filling the space. Instead, I live in it as-is to see how I naturally use each area.

why it works:

- prevents impulse buys – no random decor that doesn’t fit the vibe.

- paves money – I only buy pieces I know I’ll love long-term.

- makes the space intentional – decor fits the way I actually live, not how I think I’ll live.

- helps with flow – after 30 days, I know where I need lighting, storage, or cozy touches.
