Windows Update Connect RemoteApp does not work

Microsoft accepts. Windows latest update makes RemoteApp connection unavailable.

Windows 11 bugs are so many that this serious point has become a funny point for users because every time a new patch is released, it is always to fix the old bug and add a new one.

According to a report by the website Bleeping Computer, Microsoft acknowledged that the update on Windows 11 24H2 with 25H2 and Windows Server 2025 (running under the Azure Virtual Desktop environment) during November. Under the update code KB5070311, a non-security update, there is a bug that results in the connection between the updated body and the RemoteApp application used to stream applications from the cloud service without loading the Virtual Desktop emulator, making the app run similar to the local run. But the good news is, since the update is an update for Windows 11 users in the Enterprise version, which is a version for large organizations only, Windows 11 users in the Home and Pro versions will still be able to use RemoteApp normally.

Microsoft also advised affected organizations that they could be modified by allowing the Admin or Administrator to modify the Registry.

Microsoft also recommends that administrators may use the Rollback command to reverse problematic updates for users on Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise. For the Enterprise version, administrators can handle all Rollbacks under the same user group through the Windows Group Policy.
