Tales Runner, which is scheduled to open on February 25, has caused a serious issue after it was reported that when players uninstalled the game through the Uninstaller program, all the data files inside the drive were deleted, not only the files of the game itself.

An expert later checked the program with the decompile method to analyze the operation. Uninstaller found that the file delete command at the Root Directory level without first checking whether it is a primary drive such as C:\ or D:\. If the game is installed on the Root of the drive, it will delete all files in that location immediately when uninstalled.

This is mainly due to the installation process that does not automatically create a specific folder for the game. Some users install the game directly into the Root of the drive. When uninstalled, the entire drive was deleted according to the program command.

The impact of this incident was serious. At least one player reportedly lost an important task file that affected their job duties. It has now been announced by the team who has installed the game.
