Hot take but the people who twinkify tony are the same ones who reduce Bucky to "uwu BWOKEN boi-o who doesnt understands anyting and needs sammie-wammie cuddles", the same ones who paint Steve as nothing short of a saint whose only wrong was leaving Bucky (and not the MANY times he actively committed harm), and actively reduces black widows role in the avengers as a character outside of her relationships with her male teammates. furthermore they completely relagate clint to comic relief as if he isnt an avenger fully capable of holding his own against them all. ALSO (because I love yapping and Stonys on my mind)- Tony has canonically (to the books, and I believe the iron man saga) experimented with men, plus ships dont need to be canon to be valid, so thats not the problem with Stony itself. HOWEVER. IT IS STILL DISRESPECTFUL AS FUCK to his character to ship him with steve BECAUSE steve consistantly perpetuated the abuse he overcame and consistently ignored tonys boundaries. steve was toxic as all fuck to tony, and was allowed to be by tonys father. to erase that because "They're in love!!1!1!1111!!
