"Fatigue" from cancer. Why does the rest not heal? 🤔
👉 "How tired... won't heal," deeply understand Cancer-Related Fatigue, and take care of it in the right way. 🤩
👉 Cancer Fatigue, or Cancer-Related Fatigue (CRF), is not a hard-working and resting fatigue, but a physical, mental and mental exhaustion that affects both body and mind. Many people describe it as "like a 5% battery all the time." 😱 And importantly, sleep is not as good as it should be.
Understanding CRF properly will help patients and their families cope more effectively.
1) Managing Energy Wisely: The "Money in Pocket" Theory ✨💰
Let's see that "day-to-day energy" is a limited amount of money. If you overuse it, there is no reserve for it.
The heart is the 4P rule.
✅ Prioritize (prioritized)
On low energy days. Choose to do only what is really important. Other tasks can be postponed.
✅ Plan (planned)
Don't combine the hard work for one day. Gradually spread the mission over several days.
✅ Pace (set the tempo)
Do alternating activities. Do not wait until exhausted and then stop.
✅ Position (Gesture Adjustment)
Change the way you do activities to use less force, such as taking a shower, dressing, or using a strong buoy in your home.
Another tool that helps a lot is Energy Journal. ✨
Note what time of day you feel the strongest, such as after waking up or after breakfast, and use the "golden energy period" to do important activities. 😍
2) Nutrition: Fill the body with fire. ✨🔥
Some of the fatigue is caused by loss of muscle mass and dehydration.
✅ Protein is the key.
Egg whites, fish, chicken breasts or good quality protein help repair muscles and enhance refreshment.
✅. Sipping water regularly.
Dehydration, even slightly, causes a marked increase in fatigue.
✅ small but frequent meals.
Eating a large meal makes the body consume a lot of sub-energy. Try dividing it into 5-6 sub-meals a day. It will reduce lethargy and exhaustion.
👉 Proper diet does not immediately exhaust, but helps build a stable energy base in the long run.
3) "The more you move, the better," a contradictory truth. ✨🤔
Many people think they should sleep all day, but in fact, a lot of research has found that light movement is the best way to reduce CRF. 🤩
✅ If you lie still all day, your muscles will become weaker.
✅ Start by walking slowly for 5-10 minutes.
✅ doing easy yoga or stretching in bed.
✅ the morning sun to adjust the Circadian Rhythm to sleep better at night.
This is what is called the Fatigue Paradox - tired, but it has to move exactly to regain strength. ✌️
4) Sleep quality. Not just for a long time. ✨😴
Many patients are exhausted because of "deep sleep" or "waking asleep" from stress or drug side effects.
Sleep hygiene principles that should be upheld include:
✅ a proper nap, no more than 30 minutes and no later than 3: 00 p.m.
✅. Reduce light and sound before bed.
✅ Bypass the screen and blue light (Blue Light) at least 1 hour before going to bed.
A small environmental adjustment can greatly change the quality of leisure.
5) Alarm not to be overlooked ✨🤔
Fatigue does not always come from the cancer itself, sometimes from treatable conditions such as:
🔴 Anemia
🔴 Thyroid hormone disorder.
🔴 Depression
If fatigue symptoms become severe quickly, dizziness, palpitations, or affect daily life greatly, a doctor should be consulted to further determine the cause.
✨ Conclusion: Don't force, don't be discouraged, and don't think of small things. ✨
Cancer-Related Fatigue is not a weakness of mind, but a result of complex biological processes. Good management relies on both energy planning, ✅ proper nutrition, fit movement, quality sleep, and surveillance of complications. 😍
Understanding the nature of this fatigue, we do not ask, "Why hasn't it recovered?"
But it will change to "How do we use energy today to be the most cost effective?" 👍✨
And that's the first step in regaining power... hopefully and with direction. 🤩
