Meet Mochelie™️, Singapore’s first mochi-filled almond tart $9.80 by Atlr.72® x Ajinomoto Co., Inc.

A chewy Japanese mochi centre sits inside fragrant French almond cream, all on a buttery shortbread base. Comforting, indulgent & very satisfying.

💖These small little pretty tarts were created by 👨‍🍳 Chef Makoto Arami of Ami Patisserie, winner of Pastry Talent of the Year 2025 by La Liste. It’s a beautiful example of modern pastry done right — thoughtful, well-balanced & elegant.

What makes Mochelie™️ special is its sustainable approach. The recipe reduces animal-based ingredients & includes Solein®, a next-generation protein made using CO₂. Smart innovation, without sacrificing taste.

There are three flavours available.

We tried Yuzu Fromage, which was light & refreshing with bright citrus notes, followed by Azuki Matcha, pairing earthy matcha with gently sweet red bean paste.

The third flavour, Sesame Noir, delivers deep, roasted sesame flavours with a rich, nutty finish.

We also tried the Double Flowering Ice Cream.

We chose a non-dairy combo of Dark Chocolate with Lemon Peel (divine!) & Caramel Nuts. The chocolate was rich with little pops of citrus, while the caramel nuts added a warm, toasty sweetness. The ice cream we had is priced at $14, where you can choose any two flavours — either two half scoops with four toppings or two full scoops with six toppings.
