... Read moreThe Lunar New Year is a special time for family reunions, and Legendary Hong Kong’s offerings make celebrating in 2026 truly memorable. Aside from the richly flavored Legendary Poon Choi, a slow-simmered treasure pot complete with abalone and roast duck, I highly recommend the freshly steamed chee cheong fun selections. These silky rice rolls come with filling choices like roast duck, soy chicken, and BBQ pork, making for a comforting yet fresh treat that's perfect for the season. For those planning gatherings, the Prosperity Abalone Yu Sheng is a delightful dish to share — tossing the yu sheng together brings good luck and laughter, an essential part of the Lunar New Year tradition. Don’t skip the classic savory cakes made from turnip, taro, and water chestnut; pan-fried to perfection, they are nostalgic bites that spark great conversations over family stories. Ordering early is a great tip to ensure you don’t miss out: pre-orders start on December 15, with early bird discounts available until January 17. Plus, spending $200 gets you a dine-in voucher, perfect for treating your loved ones to a warm celebration at one of the convenient locations such as Jurong Point or Rochester Park. Whether you prefer to enjoy your feast at home or indulge in the dine-in atmosphere, this Lunar New Year, Legendary Hong Kong blends tradition with fresh flavors and convenience, making it easier to celebrate the Year of the Horse with full bowls and full hearts. Huat ah!
