Bagus Food Hall is now open at Northpoint City
Bagus Food Hall is now open at Northpoint City—Singapore’s first elevated, fully Halal-certified food hall.
This design-led destination at Northpoint City South Wing (02-101/103) transforms everyday dining into a thoughtful experience. The space is inspired by Malay heritage, featuring warm earthy tones & fluid lines that echo the shapes of banana leaves & spices. A major highlight is the “Ulam-ulaman” illuminated art installation by local artist Hafizah (@hahahafi), alongside a canopy of color-changing LED lanterns at the entrance.

Visiting Bagus Food Hall is a refreshing experience for anyone seeking authentic and diverse Halal cuisine in Singapore. The design elements inspired by Malay heritage create a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience beyond just the food. From my visit, the Ulam-ulaman illuminated artwork by local artist Hafizah stood out as a beautiful cultural touch, perfectly complementing the modern yet traditional fusion of flavors served. The variety of 14 unique stalls means there’s something to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed the Modern Nasi Padang at Sedap Kitchen, where the Signature Nasi Ambeng and Beef Rendang were rich and flavorful without being too heavy. The Monster Chili offered Singapore’s first Halal-certified Mala Hot Pot—a great option for spice lovers wanting an authentic mala experience with halal assurance. One of the highlights was sampling the golden egg floss Pad Thai from Telur Thai, a creative twist that left a lasting impression. The integration of different Asian flavors, from Vietnamese Pho Viet’s traditional beef pho to Ahjuma’s Japanese-Korean fusion, reflects the diversity of Singapore’s food culture all under one roof. Bagus Food Hall also places emphasis on community and lifestyle; the 'Bagus Beats' playlist playing in the background made dining relaxing and lively at the same time. Plus, the 10% discount when paying via the FairPrice Group app is a thoughtful touch encouraging both convenience and savings. If you’re exploring halal options or looking for a new food hall experience, Bagus Food Hall at Northpoint City is a destination worth visiting.
