About LINKUS 临家:
Founded in 2004 with over two decades of culinary heritage, LINKUS brings authentic Southern Fujian (Minnan) warmth & flavors across distances to put down roots in Singapore. Helmed by Executive Head Chef Lin Qiuyong, every dish celebrates tradition, craftsmanship & the comforting taste of home.
Having visited LINKUS during their grand opening, I was truly impressed by the authentic Southern Fujian experience they offer right in the heart of Singapore at Takashimaya. The variety of dishes showcased the rich culinary heritage of Minnan, featuring succulent seafood like Xiamen Mixed Seafood in Soy Sauce Broth and the uniquely flavorful Wine Marinated Mantis Prawn. My personal favorite was the Minnan Sea Eel Soup, which had a beautifully balanced taste that reflected the traditional flavors. The restaurant’s ambiance complements the food perfectly, with elegant modern wooden decor and private curtain rooms that enhance the intimate dining experience. One highlight was trying the limited counter soup, as only two pots are prepared daily, making it a rare treat for soup enthusiasts. LINKUS’s dedication to quality is evident in every dish, from the tender Curry Marbled Beef Steak to the delightful Avocado Snow Swallow dessert. Their passion for culinary craftsmanship, led by Executive Head Chef Lin Qiuyong, makes each visit a journey into the warmth and taste of home that Southern Fujian cuisine represents. For food lovers seeking a unique blend of tradition and innovation, LINKUS is a must-visit. The current opening promo with 1-for-1 vouchers and free Fortune Sea Cucumber Soup for the first 15 tables daily makes it the perfect time to explore these exquisite flavors. I took advantage of the promotion and found it excellent value for the quality served. Overall, LINKUS successfully bridges cultural heritage with modern dining, making it an exciting addition to Singapore’s vibrant food scene. Whether you are a fan of Minnan dishes or looking to discover new flavors, LINKUS at Takashimaya offers a memorable and satisfying feast.
