Atleast I am getting to it lmao 😳😓

Okay so I am going to start with the first finished which will be bottom row left corner

Reviews and star ratings!

1) A Darker Shade of Magic: 4.75 ⭐️

She’s my fav Author and this book was great the only thing is it was a little hard to follow with “world hopping”

2) A River Enchanted: 3.25 ⭐️

I should have really enjoyed this book, but I felt like to took to long to get to the interesting parts. While there was decent set up I feel like it could have been better.

3) Wild and Wrangled: 3.75 ⭐️

Last book of a series and was soo good

Good spice and interesting storyline. Forever lovers in wrong times and wrong places til 😍

4) The Viscount Who Loved Me 3.75 ⭐️

I think I was feeling a bit generous but I did enjoy this story. Not sure if I have said this but liking Bridgeton on Netflix has inspired me to try the books and I am really enjoying them. Anthony and Kate is a fun story in the books as well. Probably liked the book better.

5) Great Big Beautiful Life 4.75 ⭐️

My exact thoughts when I did the review was this book broke me then mended me back together. This one made me cry and laugh and feel a lot it was a great story and I very much enjoyed it! 💜

6) The Tenant 3.50 ⭐️

Great story a bit predictable but also had some good twists.

7) Heir of Fire 3.25 ⭐️

It was better than book 3 but I am still not sure

8) Practice Makes Perfect 4.75 ⭐️

So cute funny and very typical romance but I am wanting to read more of her books.

Thanks for letting me share these a bit / very late haha 😂 #junereads

... Read moreThis June reading roundup features a diverse mix of fiction and romance novels, providing rich insights into contemporary popular literature. Among the highlighted books is "A Darker Shade of Magic," praised for its imaginative "world hopping," though noted to be a complex narrative to follow. This fantasy novel, part of V.E. Schwab’s acclaimed series, challenges readers with its multidimensional settings and engaging characters. "A River Enchanted" offers a slower build-up, suggesting that pacing plays a significant role in reader engagement in fantasy and romance genres. The review implies that while the setup was promising, the story delayed reaching its compelling moments, an aspect critical in holding reader interest. Romance readers will appreciate "Wild and Wrangled," which concludes a series with a satisfying blend of passionate romance and intriguing plots about lovers separated by time and circumstance. Similarly, "The Viscount Who Loved Me," inspired by the popular Netflix adaptation of Bridgerton, adds depth to the beloved characters of Anthony and Kate, showcasing the transition of screen to page storytelling. Emotional impact is a strong theme in "Great Big Beautiful Life," described as a book that evokes tears and laughter, illustrating how compelling storytelling can resonate deeply with readers. Meanwhile, "The Tenant" balances predictability with unexpected twists, reflecting typical thriller elements that keep narratives engaging. The fantasy sequel "Heir of Fire" sees improvement over its predecessor but still leaves some readers uncertain, highlighting varying reader reception to serialized storytelling. Romance fans looking for lighthearted and humorous reads will enjoy "Practice Makes Perfect," which delivers classic romantic tropes with charm and wit, encouraging further exploration of the author’s works. Integrating reading goals, like the ambitious June goal noted in the OCR text, exemplifies how readers set personal challenges to enhance their reading habits. This structured approach helps in discovering new authors such as Emily Henry, Freida McFadden, and Sarah J. Maas, whose works span genres and captivate wide audiences. Overall, these reviews provide valuable perspectives for readers seeking new books to explore in fantasy, romance, and contemporary fiction, emphasizing the importance of pacing, emotional depth, and series conclusions in creating memorable reading experiences. The blend of personal reflections and star ratings adds authenticity and authority to the book recommendations, making this collection a useful guide for avid readers.
