I've personally found that when I allow myself to pause and embrace moments of stillness, my creativity flourishes, especially in art and digital drawing. Stillness helps me connect deeply with my emotions and surroundings, which reflects in the serenity and detail of my artwork. Engaging in this practice isn't just about physical stillness; it also means quieting the mind and fully experiencing the present moment. This can lead to reduced stress and greater mental clarity, both vital for creative expression and overall well-being. I often use stillness as an intentional break to refresh my perspective, which then inspires new ideas and life insights. By incorporating stillness into daily routines—whether through meditation, mindful breathing, or simply sitting quietly—you can nurture a rich inner world. This inner calmness directly translates into more authentic and meaningful art, as well as a balanced life approach. The phrase "Be so still" serves as a gentle reminder that in tranquility, creativity and life truly thrive.
