I heard the Tampa Bay Bucs were calling us…
I heard the Tampa Bay Bucs were calling us out of retirement… so of course we had to show up!
A decade ago, this sisterhood shaped so much of who I was…the discipline, the confidence, the artistry, the friendships. And stepping back into rehearsal for the 50-year reunion reminded all of us just how special this organization truly is.
The laughs came back instantly. The muscle memory? Eventually. But the bond? Never left.
There’s something unique about being part of a team like this… a group of women who’ve trained together, pushed each other, performed for thousands, and walked through a chapter of life most people will never fully understand.
Once a TBBC, always a TBBC. ❤️🖤
Forever grateful to the Buccaneers organization for inviting us back, honoring 50 years of tradition, and celebrating every woman who has ever worn these boots.
What a gift to stand next to so many incredible alumni again…strong, talented women bound by a sisterhood that’s truly unmatched.

It's incredible to reflect on what it truly meant to be a Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader. When I first dreamt of wearing those iconic boots, it felt like an impossible goal. The audition process alone was an intense experience—weeks of learning routines, perfecting techniques, and interviews, all while trying to stand out among hundreds of incredibly talented women. It wasn't just about dance skills; the Buccaneers organization was looking for poise, dedication, and a certain spark that embodies the spirited heart of the team. Once you made the squad, the real work began. Our schedule was rigorous, balancing full-time jobs or school with countless hours of rehearsals each week. We'd spend evenings and weekends perfecting routines, learning new choreography, and ensuring our fitness levels were top-notch. There was a constant push for perfection, a discipline that became ingrained in everything we did. This commitment extended beyond the practice studio; we were always representing the Tampa Bay Bucs, whether at community events, charity functions, or simply out in public, embodying the pride of the NFC CHAMPIONS legacy. But nothing compared to game day. Walking onto that field, feeling the roar of the crowd, and cheering on our team to victory was an adrenaline rush like no other. There's a special kind of pride that comes with being part of the game-day magic, witnessing unforgettable moments, and contributing to the electric atmosphere. I vividly remember the excitement of cheering for the team through all their ups and downs, especially during those seasons where we celebrated significant achievements. The energy when the crowd erupted, knowing you were a part of that, was absolutely contagious! It’s a feeling that’s hard to articulate, but every former cheerleader remembers it. Beyond the bright lights, the most enduring part of the experience was the sisterhood. These weren't just teammates; they became family. We supported each other through sweat, tears, and triumphs. We celebrated personal milestones and leaned on each other during tough times. That bond, forged through shared hard work and unforgettable moments, never truly fades. It's a connection that transcends time and distance, proving that our collective 'retirement' from the field doesn't mean an end to the bond. The skills I gained extended far beyond dance. The discipline, the confidence to perform under pressure, the ability to work seamlessly in a team, and the professionalism required for public appearances—these were invaluable life lessons. They shaped me into the person I am today, instilling a work ethic and a belief in myself that has served me well in every endeavor since. It truly taught me that once you're a part of something so special, like being a Buccaneers cheerleader, those qualities stay with you. It’s a legacy of grace, strength, and unwavering team spirit. It’s more than just cheering; it’s about being a part of history and carrying that pride forward. That's why, years later, when the call for a reunion comes, you don't hesitate. You show up, ready to relive the magic and celebrate that unbreakable bond once again.
