The Famous Avocado Shake? 🥑
We stopped by The King Avocado, the Original Gula Melaka Avocado, at Alexandra Village Food Centre to grab something cold and refreshing.
We ordered:

🥤 Smooth Till The Last Sip
The first thing that stood out was just how smooth the avocado was.
It was blended really well, with barely any bits or sediment left in the drink. Together with the ice, every sip was cold, creamy and super refreshing.
Definitely hits differently on a hot Singapore day. ☀️
🍯 Sweet, But Not Jelak
The drink leaned slightly towards the sweeter side, but thankfully, it never became overwhelmingly sweet.
Even after drinking quite a bit, we didn't get that jelak feeling where you start struggling to finish the rest.
And somehow, one of us still managed to finish the entire large cup. 😂
🥤 Medium or Large?
Honestly, get the medium.
At $4.50, we think it's enough for one person to enjoy.
The $7 large is pretty huge, so unless you're seriously craving avocado or planning to share, we'd stick with the medium.
💰 Worth It?
For a hawker centre drink, it isn't exactly the cheapest.
But for how thick, smooth and satisfying it was, we can understand why people keep coming back for it.

Alexandra Village Food Centre isn't the most convenient place to reach without a nearby MRT station, which explains our 1/5 accessibility rating.
