Bali Dines 🇮🇩

Clocking in some unique places I've visited in Bali so far 🍽️

Naughty Nuri's Warung Seminyak

We ordered the Nuri's Meat Platter (779K), Crispy Pork Belly (125K) and Nuri's Prawn Skewers (185K) - total damage about SGD85 for 6 pax. Their pork ribs were a solid 💯

Ding Ding Hot Pot - Canggu

Can't really add up the total of the damage at this point yet. But the soup bases were also a solid 💯 for me, especially the chicken bone broth that was boiling for a good 8 hours.

Penny Lane

This place was well recommended by my lovely grab rider, and definitely it did not disappoint. A solid garden-themed ambience and tasteful dines. We ordered the Burrata Cheese & Hummus (85K), Gold Fried Calamari (85K) Rib-eye Steak (260K), Moroccan Barramundi (150K), Salmon & Garlic Dijon (185K), Gnocchi & Burrata (105K), and Out-n-In Burger (120K) - total damage about SGD75 for 6 pax. TELL ME THESE AREN'T WORTH IT?! 😮‍💨

Copenhagen CAFE Canggu

It was my second time dining here. Love the breakfast options as always, you get to build your own breakfast and there's no minimal cost to building your own. Their coffees are top as well 🥹

Blacklist Coffee Roasters

While we didn't get to eat here on this trip due to a tight schedule (and it closes at 6pm 🥹), I'd want to rave about their coffee and apple crumble I had last year. Definitely a place I'll be visiting on my next trip and not missing out on the apple crumble again.

Also, totally not relating to food but a little shoutout to Beach House Massage by Tonic, House of Creambath | Head & hair spa and MAJA Spa for the amazing massage, facial and hair spa for a short moment of self pampering.

That's all so far for the trip I'd be recommending.

Definitely not the last for Bali, and there'll be more to come 💯

Missing my grab bike rides as always 🖤

... Read moreDuring my recent Bali trip, I made it a point to explore some distinctive eateries and wellness spots that truly enriched my experience. Starting with Naughty Nuri's Warung in Seminyak, their renowned pork ribs truly stood out — tender, flavorful, and an absolute must-try for meat lovers. The variety on their menu, like crispy pork belly and prawn skewers, offered a great mix of tastes for the group I was with, and the cost was surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. In Canggu, Ding Ding Hot Pot caught my attention due to their specialty in slow-cooked chicken bone broth, simmered for eight hours, delivering a rich and hearty soup base that's perfect for hot pot enthusiasts. The freshness of ingredients here made every bite satisfying, and it's a fantastic way to experience communal dining in a relaxing setting. Another highlight was Penny Lane, recommended by a local grab rider. The garden-themed ambience created a lovely backdrop for a diverse menu including burrata cheese, rib-eye steak, Moroccan barramundi, and more. Sharing these dishes with friends, the balance of quality and price reinforced the spot as a solid dining choice. Breakfast at Copenhagen Cafe in Canggu was a treat on its own—custom-build options and excellent coffee made mornings genuinely enjoyable, without the stress of minimum order amounts. Although I couldn't dine at Blacklist Coffee Roasters this time, my previous visit left a lasting impression with their superb coffee and delightful apple crumble, cementing it as a cafe to revisit. Beyond food, I carved out moments for self-pampering at Beach House Massage by Tonic, House of Creambath Head & Hair Spa, and MAJA Spa. Each provided exceptional massages, facials, and hair treatments that rejuvenated me amidst the busy touring schedule. These wellness stops added a balanced and restorative element to the trip. If you're planning a Bali visit, I highly recommend including a mix of these dining and spa experiences. They not only introduce you to the local culinary scene but also offer moments of relaxation to recharge. Whether you're a food lover or need some well-deserved self-care, Bali's diverse offerings won’t disappoint. And don’t forget to hop on a Grab bike for an authentic local ride while you explore!

I have been looking to try an intraoral buccal massage after seeing how it’s amazing for people who suffer from TMJ or those who usually hold tension in their faces (which I think most Office Ladies OLs do). I found a few in SG but it’s about $150-$200+ for a 45 mins session which is really an
