Suck the clip down. Shopee reported 50,000 calls per clip.
The experience sucked the clip down. Shopee realized that our clip was worth more than it thought.
Many people may think that being re-posted is a small thing, but when you find yourself knowing that it's not just a matter of views or clip owner credit, because some people use our clips to make money selling products without our permission.
This happened when I was putting a clip to the shopping cart in Shopee as usual, but while looking at the product, I found my own clip on another account, not my account. At first I thought it might be just one, but after looking back, I found more than 10 Accounts reusing the clip without permission.
One of the mistakes I wanted to share as a lesson was that I was so shocked that I immediately went to the comment and asked the owner of the post how to use the clip. As a result, the other side immediately deleted the clip, causing some important evidence to disappear. If I can go back in time, I will not hurry to say hello, but will keep the evidence first.
If anyone encounters a similar situation, the first thing to do is to collect as much evidence as possible - screenshots, our original clip links, reused clip links, user account names, date and time found, including screenshots while viewing such clips, because these evidence can be used to confirm that we are the real owner of the work.
After the information is fully collected, evidence can be consulted for police officers or intellectual property related agencies. Preliminary copyright infringement information should be studied, because some areas may not often encounter cases of this nature. Preparing the information will allow for faster and reduced travel cycles.
The important thing that many people do not know is that the video clips we shoot, make and edit ourselves are already protected by copyright law even if they are not registered. Therefore, using other people's works to create unauthorized commercial interests can cause legal liability.
This article is not intended to cause everyone to rush to sue anyone, but requires all creators to know their rights, because today many people devote their time to taking clips, thinking content, and creating works on a whim. If one day our work is found to be used without permission, at least we should know how to deal, and most importantly, don't say hello, don't just rant, but keep the evidence, because evidence is the most valuable thing when problems arise.# Sucked clip # Stole the picture to use
