✨ Tuesday Night 5-Minute Bible Study ✨

Some nights, your soul is just tired.

Not physically—spiritually.

Tonight’s 5-minute Bible study is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Jesus invites us to come as we are… weary, overwhelmed, and heavy-hearted—and find rest.

If today felt like a lot, pause here.

Breathe. Pray. Lay it down.

💭 Reflection Question:

How can you lay your burdens before God tonight?

🤍 Comment REST if you’re choosing peace over pressure tonight.

This can be caused by anxiety, fear, guilt, worry, or stress, as highlighted in Matthew 11:28-30 where Jesus invites us to "come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." In my own journey, I have found that taking just a few minutes to intentionally pause, breathe, and pray can create a powerful shift in perspective. When you intentionally lay your worries at Jesus’ feet, you acknowledge that you don’t have to carry everything on your own. His promise to give rest to our souls means that we can trade our anxiety and heavy burdens for His peace and lightness. One personal practice that has helped me is to reflect on the question: "How can I lay my burdens before God tonight?" This reflection encourages me to name the specific worries or fears weighing me down and then verbally or silently hand them over in prayer. For example, focusing on areas like fear of the future, guilt over past mistakes, or overwhelming stress allows me to release control and trust in God’s strength. Praying a simple prayer such as, "Lord, give me peace and strength to face tomorrow," reinforces faith and offers comfort. It feels like an invitation to rest, not just physically, but deeply within my spirit. Over time, this practice has helped me replace anxious thoughts with confidence in God’s care. If you’re feeling burdened, try this short study approach: read Matthew 11:28-30, pause to reflect on Jesus’ invitation to rest, quietly ask yourself how you can surrender your specific worries, then pray for peace. Commenting "REST" or sharing this practice with friends can also be a reminder to choose peace over pressure in your daily life. Remember, Jesus’ yoke is easy and His burden is light—there’s strength and relief in accepting His invitation. Allow yourself this 5-minute spiritual pause tonight; it can rejuvenate your soul in ways the world cannot.
