Wanted to apply for an internship but hesitate.

I'm an undergrad student and wanted to take internship. It would be a voluntary one, as it is not required on my program. I badly wanted to apply to have a legit work experience.

The thing is that I am eyeing to apply for this big companies, where most of our alumni had their internship and/or now is working there. However, it might be difficult for me to travel back and forth from my place/university to work. Another factor is my class schedule and other school responsibilities.

Could I still try to apply, but if ever I received an interview schedule, may I chose not to continue it? What could possibly happen? Any advice?

I know how you feel wanting to work for a bigger company, but bigger is not always better. It might be better to start out at a smaller business and then switch to a bigger company down the road and compare the 2.

look for an online internship if you’re worried about getting there!! just make sure you’re open and honest about when you have class!!
