starting with hair!!!

📍Maxx Studio – located at Upper Boon Keng

i’ve trusted Maxx with my hair for the longesttttt time and my hair is notoriously annoying to manage lol i have curly roots and have been rebonding my hair since i was p6 lmao….. but i also love dyeing and bleaching my hair and doing all sorts of shit to it :~) Maxx has NEVER failed me – i trust this man so much that sometimes i just give him free reins to do whatever he wants to my hair LOLOLOL 🫣 my hair has been damaged by multiple salons but Maxx Studio is both affordable and professional (and relatively nearby for an eastie hehe) 🤪

on to lashes!!!

📍 Layla Lash Brow – located at Far East Plaza

i’ve been going to her since end 2023 since my workplace was located nearby and no!!! regrets!!!!! lash retention is decent by my standards and prices are also okay by my standards!! it’s also mostly comfortable – but i mean i fall asleep quite easily hahaha and my eyes are actually quite sensitive so there were several sessions she’s had to help me put eye drops post appointment on her own accord!!! i usually do 4D and it’s about $85? and i do both lash and brows on the same day so its usually a total of $105~ but she’s pregnant and due to give birth soon i think so this is the only period i’ve been cheating on her w another salon 🥲🥲🥲 still waiting for the day she resumes work fully and i can return to do both brows and lash and NOT be pressured into buying packages 🤪

and finally, nails!!!

📍 nailed.dem – located in Pasir Ris (wa best for me)

only been to her place twice so far and the first time swept me off my feet la she’s the only one who has replicated my inspo pic closest to what it looks like so far 🥹 after a month (and very rough handling of my nails), only 1 extension nail was SLIGHTLY lifting!!! her prices are not the most affordable but for the convenience of location i’d take it as saving on the grab fare (HA girl math right here) 🤪 and she’s very comfortable w feedback!!! sister here has difficulties voicing out her desires but w nailed.dem, she’s v open to my changing the length and my opinions on the design!!!! love love loooove
