🇲🇾 KL most famous Bagels! Q for 1 hour

📍Grumpy Bagels - Sentul Depot ,KL

Didn’t expect a Monday lunchtime crowd to be this crazy! We queued for about 45 minutes.

After taking our queue number, we went to the café next to the pickleball court to grab a drink while waiting — it was honestly too hot to stand outside.

Once we got in, every corner was such a photo spot. The industrial-style design, vintage decorations, and cute merch made the whole place feel very thoughtful. The space is quite big and comfortable, but because it’s so popular, there’s a time limit for seating.

Ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What we ordered:

Sausage & Egg Bagel Sandwich

Aloha Chicken Bagel Sandwich

Each set comes with either salad or fries. The salad was very fresh and light, and the fries were really good too.

The bagel texture is exactly what I like — chewy and satisfying. The Aloha chicken was honestly so good! The chicken thigh was super tender, paired with pineapple and their special sauce — very satisfying.

The sausage & egg one was nice too, with a slightly sweet and savory jam-like sauce.

Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

For the portion size, the price is actually quite reasonable.

2 bagel sandwiches + 1 coffee + 1 tea was about RM103.

Highly recommend! If you’re a bagel lover, just go for it.

... Read moreIf you're a fan of unique cafe experiences, Grumpy Bagels at Sentul Depot is more than just a food stop — it's a place to soak in a lively atmosphere combined with delicious food. Beyond the chewy, perfectly textured bagels, the venue itself is worth noting. With vintage decorations and thoughtful merchandising, it offers a great backdrop whether you're snapping photos or just relaxing with friends. For those curious about the menu variety, the standout Aloha Chicken sandwich pairs tender chicken thigh with a refreshing pineapple twist, balanced by their special tangy sauce. Meanwhile, the Sausage & Egg option delights with a subtly sweet and savory jam-like sauce, creating a comforting flavor profile. Both options come with a choice of fresh salad or crispy fries as sides, which complement the main well. While the crowd can be intense—expect queues especially during peak hours—the wait gives you a chance to explore nearby spots or grab a drink at the adjacent café by the pickleball court, which is handy on hot days. Seating time is limited due to popularity, so plan accordingly if you want a relaxed visit. Pricing feels reasonable for the portion size and quality, with a combo of two bagel sandwiches, coffee, and tea coming to about RM103. Overall, Grumpy Bagels delivers a satisfying taste and memorable environment that’s hard to find elsewhere in KL. It's definitely a spot I’d recommend to anyone looking to try something different or just craving a well-made bagel.
