DNA+RNA structure
DNA and RNA are nucleic acids that store and transmit genetic information. DNA has a double-helix structure made of two antiparallel strands with a sugar-phosphate backbone and nitrogenous bases (adenine, thymine, cytosine, guanine). Base pairing occurs as A–T and C–G. RNA is usually single-stranded, contains ribose sugar, and uses uracil instead of thymine. RNA structures vary, forming mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA for protein synthesis
