... Read moreBeing a mom to four amazing kids—Aubrey (15), Dominique (14), Jesus (10), and DeAndre (4)—is truly an adventure! Every day brings new joys, challenges, and endless laughter. My journey started way back in 2007 with my incredible partner, and now our house is full of vibrant personalities, from teenagers to a spirited little one, not to mention our furry French Bulldog, Fendi.
Life with four children means mastering the art of multitasking. My mornings usually kick off before the sun is fully up, often with that first essential cup of coffee. Getting two teenagers, a pre-teen, and a preschooler ready for their day requires a well-orchestrated routine, a good sense of humor, and sometimes, a little divine intervention! Aubrey and Dominique are navigating high school and all its social whirl, while Jesus is busy with his video games and sports, and DeAndre is just discovering the world around him with boundless energy. Each child has unique needs and interests, keeping me constantly on my toes.
Amidst the beautiful chaos of family life, I've learned how important it is to carve out moments for myself and my passions. Being a nail artist isn't just a hobby; it's my creative outlet, a way to express myself and bring a little sparkle into the world. After the kids are settled or during a quiet afternoon nap for DeAndre, you might find me experimenting with new designs, from intricate French tips to dazzling glitter and rhinestones. It's those small pockets of time that help me recharge and feel like 'me' beyond just 'mom.'
Our family is the heart of everything I do. We love spending time together, whether it’s a family movie night, a walk with Fendi, or just sharing stories around the dinner table. It’s not always perfect; there are squabbles, spills, and endless laundry piles, but there's also so much love and support. My faith plays a huge role in how I approach motherhood and life in general, giving me strength and perspective when things get tough.
For any other moms out there juggling multiple responsibilities, my biggest advice is to embrace the journey. Find your village, whether it's family, friends, or online communities. Don't be afraid to ask for help, and remember that it's okay not to be perfect. Celebrate the small victories – a clean kitchen for five minutes, a heartfelt hug, or a successful nail art creation. Cherish those everyday moments, because they truly fly by. Every day is a learning experience, and I wouldn't trade this crazy, wonderful life as a mother of four for anything.
I love this. 🥰
