Goals check in!

How does everyone feel about their New Year’s resolution?

I know a few of mine are staying strong! I have been reading more, doing things I enjoy, and seeing my friends more often!

I have also been going to the gym!

Small tiny improvements have really helped!

How do you feel going through February? If you’ve fallen behind, now is your time to pick it up again!

... Read moreChecking in on New Year’s resolutions a month or two in can often bring mixed feelings. Some people find themselves ahead, while others may feel discouraged at having fallen behind. From personal experience, I’ve learned that the key to maintaining momentum isn’t about grand gestures but rather consistent small steps. For example, I started by dedicating just 10 minutes a day to reading books I enjoy, which made the habit less daunting and more pleasurable. Similarly, going to the gym didn’t have to mean long sessions; even short workouts helped me feel accomplished and boosted my energy. Another helpful approach is to mix enjoyable activities with goal-oriented ones. Spending time with friends adds a social element that supports mental well-being, which in turn sustains motivation for other goals. Around February, it’s common to feel your resolve weakening, but instead of resetting everything, I found that recalibrating goals to be more realistic helped regain my enthusiasm. The impact of tiny improvements may seem small individually, but they compound over time, making a big difference by the end of the year. Tracking progress through journals or apps can also create positive reinforcement. Whether it’s fitness, reading, or social connections, celebrating small wins encourages continued effort. If you've fallen behind, it’s never too late to pick up where you left off. Embrace flexibility in your resolutions, and don’t be afraid to adjust your methods so they align better with your lifestyle. Remember, the goal is progress—not perfection—so every little effort counts towards building a fulfilling and balanced year.
