Day 5 of my food diary

... Read moreOn this day of my food diary, I focused on meals that not only taste great but also support my protein goals and overall health. For breakfast, the overnight Weetbix with yogurt and berries was refreshing and packed with nutrients—it’s a simple recipe mixing weetbix and skimmed milk, layered with strawberries and protein yogurt, topped with blueberries and zero-calorie jam. Lunch featured a hearty chicken and fish protein bowl from Grain & Co, which provided a satisfying balance of lean proteins. Staying hydrated and minimizing sugar intake is important to me, so I added my zero sweetener to ice lemon tea—a refreshing choice that kept calories low. Dinner included acai soft serve, a great way to resist unhealthy snacks, paired with 150g of chicken breast to maintain muscle fuel. I topped off the day with a choc banana protein muffin, which surprisingly delivers 12g of protein per muffin—perfect for a guilt-free dessert. Beyond food, I made sure to stay active with 13,000 steps and 40 minutes of cardio, helping me burn calories and improve my mood. This combination of balanced meals and exercise makes me feel energized and motivated to keep progressing with my diet and fitness journey. If you’re exploring diet foods that help with weight loss and sustaining energy, these easy-to-follow meals and snacks might inspire your own food diary! Remember, small changes like choosing higher protein snacks or zero-sugar drinks can make a big difference over time.
