🏛 History of the "Monument of the Surnary" or "Monument of Granny Mo"

🔹 Location?

• Located in front of Chumpol Gate, Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat)

🔹 Who is "Dame Surnary"?

• Original name: Ms. Mo

• Position: Wife of Phraya Permanent Secretary of Nakhon Ratchasima

• In 1826, there was an incident in which the son of Vientiane rebelled and tried to take his captives from Korat back to Vientiane.

• "Grandma Mo" plans for a captive Thai woman to lure Lao soldiers to lay down their weapons and be weak.
