Among the most respected monks in the late Thai society, one of the names that has always been mentioned by the people is Narat Manit, commonly known as "The Prince of Zirin Temple," the magnificent Mahathra, strict in the discipline, and who lives with great simplicity throughout his life.
He was born in the genus of the aristocrat, served to be named "the King of Manit" before his later ordination, and chose to serve as a pacifist, not to chase fame, not to accept excessive mantra, and to reject the accumulation of all objects. This simple but strong position has made him regarded as a pure monk and an example to many priests and laity.
"Teach with life rather than words."
The monk is not a monk who emphasizes prolonged performance, but teaches through "the example of living." He is on time, strict, economical, simple, and values "integrity in his own heart" more than any ritual.
The principle that he always emphasized to his students was the simple but profound truth:
"Action is more important than words."
And what makes this book so invaluable is that you live such a life with every breath, without hope of praise, without receiving gifts, without receiving envelopes, and without allowing external things to obscure the intentions of goodness that you hold.

One of the sentences best remembered by Zirin alumni and devotees is a short phrase that appears on the plaque in front of his cloister that fully summarizes the principle of living:
"Better do good than wish."
This simple sentence clearly reflects the essence of your teachings. He never pointed people to external miracles, but reiterated that "the most solid merit and blessing is the good we do with our own hands."
It is not surprising, then, that this phrase has become the theme of many pupils, especially Zirindr divine students, who grew up with his story and applied it in their lives, work and treatment of others.
"The faith born of the purity of the Inspector?"
Although you do not accept mantras, do not accept envelopes, do not perform ceremonies for fame, and do not appear in public regularly, your example of honest, strict, and reclusive life has led the people to come to ask for advice and worship for decades.
Faith in the Lord is not due to miracles or recounts, if it is due to sincerity as a doer, to the praise of all levels, from ordinary villagers to government officials to the chief executives of the country.
"The legacy you left to Thai society?"
Although he has long been a monk, the name "Prince of the Temple of the Goddess of Zirin" remains a symbol of goodness and quiet honesty. The faithful remember him as a god who never demanded anything, never used faith for his own gain, and taught men the "value of good conduct" rather than waiting for miracles.
His teachings still resonate in the hearts of disciples throughout the country.
"Better to do good than to bless," for the good we do is the holiest blessing in life.
