Freedom in God’s word

I grew up in church and knowing about God, but it wasn’t until age 28 I finally decided to sit down and read the Bible on my own time. This changed the game for me. I felt like we got a book on how to do life and not only that I got to know God’s true character!

If you haven’t read the Bible yet, I encourage you to do so because it will help you with this thing called life and you get read and experience God’s true love for us!

... Read moreHealing from a toxic relationship can feel overwhelming, but finding freedom in God's Word is transformative. Many individuals experience emotional scars from past partnerships that offer little real love or support. In the process of healing, turning to scriptures serves as a guiding light, illuminating the path to restoration and trust in God's new plans for your life. Take Isaiah 43:18-19, for instance: "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" This verse encourages letting go of past hurts and embracing the future God has in store for you. When you repeatedly meditate on the truth of God’s promises, it cultivates inner strength and resilience against the lies that can creep into your mind. Establish a daily routine of engaging with scripture to reinforce your self-worth. Scriptures like Psalm 139:14, which states, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made," remind you of your inherent value in God's eyes. This self-affirmation is crucial in overcoming the emotional baggage left by toxic relationships. Moreover, reading God's Word provides clarity and courage to release the emotional ties to harmful past experiences. It's essential to abandon what holds you back and recognize that each day is an opportunity to grow closer to God and discover your purpose. In times of doubt, speak life into your circumstances by declaring God's promises over your situation. Your journey might be difficult, but remember that God is doing something new in your life. He is working to create rivers in the deserts of your past, transforming sorrow into joy. Trust in His process, lean on His Word, and embrace the future He has predestined for you. Keep moving forward into a life filled with purpose, grace, and endless possibilities.
