Don’t Over Complicate The Will Of God

We overcomplicate the will of God like it’s a cosmic scavenger hunt 🧐

But what if… it’s not that deep?

What if it’s already in you?

🧠 What lights you up?

🙌 What are you naturally good at?

💛 What blesses others while bringing you joy?

Yeah. That. Do that.

God’s will isn’t hiding behind a burning bush or encrypted in Hebrew.

It’s often just obedience in the ordinary.

So stop waiting for the sky to open and start using what’s already in your hands.

Colossians 3:17 says it best — whatever you do, do it all in the name of Jesus. 💫

That means there’s freedom. Purpose. And probably a lot less overthinking.

The message of using what you are naturally good at and what brings joy resonates deeply because it aligns faith with practical daily living. Many people wonder about God’s will like it’s a complicated mystery tied to church readings or divine encounters, but it’s actually about living with intentionality and love in ordinary moments. When you do work or serve others with the mindset of dedicating it to Jesus’ name, your purpose becomes clear and fulfilling. Also, the reminder that it’s not about titles or being in the spotlight was freeing for me. God’s will isn’t about achieving recognition but about sincere obedience and faith in action. Using your unique skills to bless others is a powerful way to live on purpose. The scripture Colossians 3:17 helps ground this truth—whatever you do, do it all in Jesus’ name. This empowers us to find joy and meaning even in simple tasks, turning everyday moments into worship and purposeful living. If you’re searching for clarity, try reflecting on what brings you joy and benefits those around you. Your passions are not random; they’re a divine guide pointing you toward God’s will. Starting with obedience in what’s already in your hands creates peace and frees us from overcomplicating the journey.

God has never shown me my path. I have been in a dead end marriage for decades with a man that I don't love and doesn't respect me. But I take my wedding vows seriously, so here I am unhappy and alone.
