Replying to @Jax🫥 Tbf the rude comments asking what I thought I was accomplishing were conveniently private pages that I couldn’t video reply to. #poverty #letstalkaboutit
Sharing my experience creating content like 'Super Rich Kids' while being in a difficult financial situation taught me a lot about perception and resilience. Often, people judge what others share online without understanding their background or struggles. For example, some viewers criticized me for showcasing lifestyle elements while my essentials like water and power were at risk of being cut off. This disconnect between appearance and reality is common and shows how complex storytelling can be. Living in poverty does not mean one's creativity or voice should be silenced. On the contrary, using platforms to express personal stories, even those with a touch of irony or boldness, can be a powerful way to cope and raise awareness. The rude comments that come from private pages where I couldn’t respond effectively highlighted for me the importance of maintaining mental strength and choosing how to engage with negativity. This experience gave me a new perspective on how we all flex or present ourselves online. Sometimes it's about survival, sometimes about hope, and sometimes simply about reclaiming our dignity when things are tough. I encourage others facing similar challenges to not shy away from sharing their stories, because behind every post is a human experience worth understanding. It’s crucial to look beyond the surface and have open, empathetic conversations about poverty and the realities many face in silence.
