Spent the day exploring one of the prettiest spots in San Antonio and it did not disappoint. 🌿✨ The peaceful water, stone bridges, lush greenery, and beautiful garden views made it feel like a little escape from reality. If you’re looking for a free, relaxing place to walk around, take pictures, and enjoy nature, add this to your list! 💚

... Read moreVisiting the San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden offers more than just a scenic stroll; it's a rejuvenating experience that invites you to connect with nature in a calming atmosphere. From personal experience, the sound of cascading waterfalls combined with the gentle rustle of leaves creates a soothing soundtrack that eases everyday stress. Exploring the garden, I found that each path revealed new photo opportunities—from intricate stone bridges to colorful flora that change with the seasons. It's an ideal spot for both casual visitors and photography enthusiasts looking to capture the interplay of natural and man-made beauty. Moreover, the garden is very family-friendly, providing ample space for children to explore safely while adults unwind. The fact that it's free makes it an accessible option for weekend getaways or spontaneous outings without worrying about entry fees. Beyond its aesthetics, the garden reflects San Antonio’s cultural appreciation, blending Japanese-inspired design with local Texan charm. This unique combination is evident in the carefully maintained landscaping and themed structures that honor traditional garden art. If you’re planning a trip, consider visiting during the early morning or late afternoon to enjoy softer light and fewer crowds. Bringing a picnic and spending a couple of hours immersed in this verdant environment can feel like a mini retreat from urban life, enhancing your overall well-being. In summary, the San Antonio Japanese Tea Garden isn’t just a pretty spot; it’s a hidden gem where nature, culture, and peacefulness converge—making it one of my favorite places in Texas to recharge and find inspiration.

TRAVEL BUDGET | How much I spent in Montana
Montana is not a cheap destination. Their “high season” ti really enjoy the both National Parks and State Parks is very short due to the weather. So, if you want to enjoy the better weather that means everything can cost a bit more, but i found the best way to do it without braking the bank.

Nicaragua - did you guess right? One of my favorite parts of Nicaragua is how affordable it is. Being in Nicaragua for two weeks was cheaper than the rent I used to pay in San Francisco…and I got to experience a whole new country?! Yes please. If I was in Europe, I would have easily spent over $3
