การไปเยือนวัดอุภัยภาติการามและหลวงพ่อโตองค์ซำปอกงนั้น นับเป็นประสบการณ์ที่สร้างความประทับใจไม่น้อย เพราะวัดนี้ยังคงความสงบและเก่าแก่ มีเสน่ห์ของศิลปะจีนที่ผสมผสานกับความเชื่อผูกพันของชุมชนบ้านใหม่แปดริ้ว คนในพื้นที่ยังนิยมมากราบไหว้เพื่อขอพรและเสริมสิริมงคล โดยเฉพาะการทำบุญผ่านจุดจำหน่ายธูปเทียนที่ทางวัดจัดไว้ ซึ่งสะดวกและเป็นระบบแนะนำวิธีการไหว้แต่ละจุด ทำให้ผู้ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยกับการปฏิบัติธรรมในวัดจีนสามารถเข้าถึงความศรัทธาได้ง่ายขึ้น นอกจากองค์หลวงพ่อโตที่จำลองมาจากวัดพนัญเชิง พระใหญ่ที่มีชื่อเสียงแล้วที่นี่ก็ยังมีบรรยากาศและความรู้สึกที่ไม่เหมือนใคร ผู้คนที่เคยมาเยือนต่างบอกว่าความเป็น unseen attraction นั้นทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนได้ค้นพบความสงบที่ซ่อนอยู่กลางเมืองฉะเชิงเทรา นอกจากนี้ยังแนะนำให้มาเยี่ยมชมในช่วงเทศกาลหรือวันสำคัญทางศาสนาเพื่อสัมผัสบรรยากาศและวัฒนธรรมที่เข้มข้นยิ่งขึ้น สิ่งเหล่านี้ทำให้วัดอุภัยภาติการามควรค่าแก่การบันทึกในรายการสถานที่เที่ยวที่สายบุญและผู้รักวัฒนธรรมไทย-จีนไม่ควรพลาดเลยทีเดียว
