If only the real work went this fast 😂
I am so excited at how my design is coming to life. It’s such an honor and answered prayer to see your dream come true. I couldn’t have done it without all the support. I am so blessed!
Now who is ready to see us bring in allllll the dirt and finish up this fence??
Thanks for being here, friend 🫶🏼

Working on my garden design has been such a rewarding and joyful experience. One thing I’ve learned is how important it is to plan carefully, especially when it comes to fencing. We used 1x1 welded wire buried about 4 inches underground to prevent critters from digging their way in. Adding a footer board helped secure the fence more firmly, which I found crucial given the unpredictable weather and local wildlife. Also, having family involved made the work feel less like a chore and more like building memories. My brother pitched in to help with the heavy lifting, and we couldn’t resist some goofing around while working. It’s those little moments that make the hard work enjoyable. The gates, made by my grandfather, really add a personal and beautiful touch to the garden. They're not only functional but can be removed if needed, which adds versatility. Installing the 4x4 goat fencing on top provides extra protection and keeps my garden safe from larger animals. If you’re thinking about starting a garden project, especially a flower farm or a cut flower garden, my advice is to take it step by step and celebrate small victories along the way. Having a solid fence is foundational—not just to keep critters out but also to create a defined and protected space for your plants to thrive. Stay tuned for the next phases of the garden build, including bringing in all the dirt and finishing the fencing. Watching a vision come alive bit by bit is truly an honor and answered prayer. I couldn’t have done it without support and encouragement, so thank you for following along on this journey!
