New Jersey

... Read moreHey fellow foodies! After sharing some of my absolute favorite New Jersey dining spots, I wanted to dive a little deeper and give you even more reasons to explore the incredible culinary landscape here. Finding the perfect place, whether it’s for a quick bite or a special occasion, can sometimes be a quest, and I’ve picked up a few tips along the way. Let's revisit some of those must-try places with a bit more insider info. At Antioch, it's not just about the fantastic Turkish food – which, by the way, never misses! I've been to their belly dancing performances, and they truly add such a lively, authentic touch to the whole dining experience. It's truly something you need to visit if you're looking for dinner and a show! Then there’s Yook92 for Korean BBQ. I honestly think Jersey has some of the best Korean food in the entire country, and Yook92 definitely proves that point. The quality of the meat and the banchan are always top-notch, making it an unforgettable grilling experience. Varka offers an amazing Greek escape. The moment you step in, you feel like you're dining in a high-end spot right out of New York City, but without the tunnel hassle! The food and staff are just as amazing as the ambiance. For something truly unique, Pasta Ramen is a fusion experience you won't forget. But here's a crucial tip from my own experience: reservations fill up instantly! You really need to be on top of it, often booking the first day of the month for the following month. Trust me, those tofu buns are to die for, and I promise you'll want to go back just for them. It's worth the planning! And of course, Razza in Jersey City. Let me tell you, not only were the appetizers amazing, but every single pizza dish there was literally incredible. Their commitment to quality ingredients really shines through. Olivia's in Hoboken is perfect if you’re heading out with a group. They have a nice selection of sharing plates, which makes it easy to try a bit of everything. My favorite was definitely the bucatini – so good! Finally, Sazanami Curry Bar in Fort Lee. While their appetizers were absolutely amazing, you just can’t go wrong with their curry. It’s comforting, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. When you’re trying to find "food near me" or "affordable restaurants," my best advice is to embrace the local gems. Don't be afraid to try smaller, family-run spots, as they often offer incredible value and authentic flavors. Many restaurants also have great lunch specials, which can be a fantastic way to experience a pricier spot without breaking the bank. Always check their online menus or call ahead for current pricing and specials. Exploring different neighborhoods can also lead you to unexpected culinary delights. What are some of your own favorite NJ spots that you think everyone should try?
