HIGH PROTEIN BANANA BREAD MUFFINS

If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I have a major sweet tooth. And when I’m in a calorie deficit, the worst thing I can do is completely cut out all the foods I love, because let’s be real, that only leads to cravings getting worse. That’s why I started making these high-protein banana bread muffins that actually satisfy my sweet cravings without throwing me off track.

Each one is low in calories, packed with protein, and naturally sweetened with banana and a touch of maple syrup. Plus, they have just enough chocolate to feel like a treat, without being over the top. I’ve been having one as a snack, post-workout, or even for breakfast with some yogurt, and they keep me full without the sugar crash.

Moral of the story? Losing weight doesn’t mean you have to eat boring food. You just have to be smart about it.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

• 2 ripe bananas, mashed

• 2 eggs

• ½ cup whole wheat flour

• 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)

• ¼ cup peanut butter

• ¼ cup maple syrup

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp baking powder

• ¼ cup chocolate chips

• ¼ cup milk (or non-dairy alternative)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin.

2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, eggs, peanut butter, maple syrup, and milk.

3. Add flour, protein powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Stir until combined.

4. Fold in chocolate chips.

5. Divide batter into muffin tins and bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

6. Let cool & enjoy!
