$5 Books I Would ACUTALLY Read!📚

We all know Ollies is a great place to find affordable books but let's be honest...sometimes the price reflects in the selection. It can be overwhelming trying to find something you would enjoy reading in a sea of cookbooks, religious material, and just novels you aren't all that interested in. To me finding a book WORTH my $5 and that I am proud to have on my shelf is important so here are books at Ollie's I would ACUTALLY read.

🏢Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong

📖PAGES: 372

📚GENRES: Adult, Sci-fi, Dystopian, Romance

🔖PRICE: $4.99

*Book 1 in a series*

The cover is what originally drew my eye but the synopsis kept my attention. I definitely recommend looking at the full synopsis. Dystopian fight to the death, magic, romance. Yes please!!

🪄The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner

📖PAGES: 352

📚GENRES: Mystery, Historical Fiction, Paranormal

🔖PRICE: $4.99

I acutally already own this one. After reading her first novel The Lost Apothecary I pre-ordered this when I heard it was coming out. I enjoyed it A LOT. A multi POV with mystery and a huge plot twist I didnt expect. I definitely recommend this one!

🌟A River of Golden Bones by A.K Mulford

📖PAGES: 392

📚GENRES: Adult Romance, Fantasy, Fairytale

🔖PRICE: $3.99

This book is what seems like a sleeping beauty retelling. Im a sucker for a good retelling but as we know with how the first ACOTAR book started just because it seems like a retelling, that doesn't mean that's all it is. I would definitely pick this one up to see what it has to offer!

🧹The Cloisters by Katy Hays

📖PAGES: 387

📚GENRES: Mystery, Thriller, Dark Academia, Ocult

🔖PRICE: $3.99

They had both the hard cover and soft cover version of this book. A dark Academia mystery thriller centered around tarot?! YES PLEASE. I already own this book but havent read it yet but I definitely feel the call to start it ASAP!

📚The Invisible Hour by Alice Hoffman

📖PAGES: 272

📚GENRES: Historical Fiction, Magical Realism, Time Slip

🔖PRICE: $4.99

I love a good time slip in a book. She goes back in time to fall in love with the man who wrote a book that resonated with her so much it saved her from herself....enough said.

🧙‍♀️The Book of Magic by Alice Hoffman

📖PAGES: 400

📚GENRES: Fantasy, Magical Realism, Witches

🔖PRICE: $4.99

*Second book in a series*

I have been dying to read the practical magic books and found the second book for only $4.99! I didn't buy it because I would like to read the first one before I do but what a good find!

Magic For Beginners by Kelly Link

📖PAGES: 297

📚GENRES: Fantasy, Magical realism, light horror

🔖PRICE: $3.99

A collection of short stories. I have never read a short story collection but I've been seeing them a lot lately and I would read this one.

🗝Lonely Castle in the Mirror by Mizuki Tsujimura

📖PAGES: 355

📚GENRES: Fantasy, Physiological Fiction, Portal Fantasy, Contemporary

🔖PRICE: $4.99

This is seemed really interesting to me. A portal Fantasy and what seems like a dialog on mental health and adolescence

🎡The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan

📖PAGES: 3 books....so a lot lol

📚GENRES: Adventure, High Fantasy

🔖PRICE: $12.99

This I think is an amazing price and I kinda regret not buying it lol. The first 3 books in a series I have heard about so much but never read. I might have to go back lol

I found so many good things today which is not always the case while trying to shop at Ollies. If you don't find anything good when you go don't feel discouraged. Its not just you. I've went many times and found nothing of interest.

Do you like shopping at Ollie's for your books? Would you pick up any of these?
