Day trip to Bilbao, Spain

Even tho it was a grey and misty day we enjoyed our day trip to Bilbao very much. For one thing the temperature is much cooler than in Madrid. We drove from Burgos so it was about a 2 hour drive. I was surprised to see a lot of signs in Euskera. I knew they spoke a different language from Spanish but thought maybe it was a small minority. Instead of tapas they call their small plates pintxos. 😋 I really enjoyed the architecture and seeing people enjoying several local events happening.
