Helpful apps to achieve fitness goal

I wanted to share some helpful apps that have helped me throughout my journey

1.lose it: similar to my fitness pal I came across this app which offers a lot of the same features as my fitness pal which is free but also has premiums that you can purchase. If you decide to download wait for an email that gives you such an amazing deal for the premium.

2. Health: the health app helps me get reminders of when there are changes in my habits

3. Fitness: the fitness app your iPhone is tremendously helpful I love the monthly goals it sets and you get badges when you achieve them

4. 10K: I read about this app and it convinced me. You do have to purchase but it’s a 3 month subscription it has a 1 week free trial. This is pretty much for those who want to go from being on the couch to reaching their goal of 10K #healthyhabits #lemon8challenge #letschat

... Read moreOkay, so you know how I mentioned 'Lose It!' as one of my go-to apps for fitness? Well, let me dive a bit deeper, especially for those of you who also use an Apple Watch. This combo has been an absolute game-changer for me in terms of staying on track with my healthy habits. The beauty of 'Lose It!' is how seamlessly it integrates with your Apple Watch. Initially, I was just logging food on my phone, but once I connected it to my watch, my tracking became so much more comprehensive and effortless. When you link 'Lose It!' with your Apple Health app (which then pulls data from your Apple Watch), it automatically syncs your activity. This means all those steps, calories burned during workouts, and even your resting energy expenditure get factored into your daily calorie budget. No more manually estimating! For example, if I go for a run and my Apple Watch tracks 300 active calories, 'Lose It!' adjusts my remaining calorie allowance for the day, giving me real-time feedback. It's incredibly motivating to see that my hard work directly impacts my daily goals. I love how it makes the whole process feel less like a chore and more like an integrated part of my day, truly helping me stay on track. One of my favorite features is how it helps me understand my actual energy balance. Before, I might have underestimated my activity or overestimated my food intake. Now, with the precise data from my Apple Watch feeding into 'Lose It!', I have a much clearer picture. I've also found that having my watch nudge me to close my rings works wonders, and seeing those calories burn directly translate into a more flexible food budget in 'Lose It!' keeps me going. It's like having a little personal coach on my wrist and in my pocket, constantly reminding me of my progress and helping me make smarter choices. Beyond 'Lose It!', the native 'Health' and 'Fitness' apps on my iPhone, which are intrinsically linked to the Apple Watch, provide an amazing ecosystem. The 'Fitness' app's monthly goals and badges are such a fun motivator. When 'Lose It!' shows I've hit my calorie targets and my 'Fitness' app shows I've closed my rings, it feels like a double win! And for those aiming for specific running goals, like transitioning from the couch to a 10K, pairing an app like '10K Runner' with your Apple Watch allows for precise distance and pace tracking, which can then feed into your overall 'Health' data. These 'apps that help me stay on track' really do create a holistic picture of my well-being. So, if you're serious about achieving your fitness goals and you have an Apple Watch, seriously consider how 'Lose It!' can enhance your tracking. Make sure to allow all the necessary permissions for data sharing between 'Lose It!' and Apple Health. It makes a huge difference in the accuracy and ease of use. This synergy has been a key part of my journey, transforming how I approach calorie counting and activity logging. It's about empowering yourself with data, making informed decisions, and celebrating every small victory along the way. Highly recommend exploring this powerful duo!
