L’Oréal Faux Brows Demo
#makeuprecommendation I had the chance to try out the Loreal faux brow pens after trying Maybelline’s 2 in 1 eyebrow tinted gel and pen and their both pretty close to one another.
I don’t do much talking in my product videos because I always like the product to sell itself. My pros are that it’s much quicker to do my brows this way than with a pencil but the con is that you have to have a light hand to do this or else you’ll see a lot of bleeding and your eyebrows will look too heavy and messy.
Would you or have you tried this eyebrow pen before? @Lemon8 Beauty

When I first picked up the LOREAL FAUX BROW PEN, I was really excited to see if it could revolutionize my brow routine. My initial thoughts were that it's super convenient for quick looks, especially when I'm running short on time. But beyond just being quick, I wanted to really delve into how it performs throughout the day and how it stacks up against other brow products I've used, like traditional pencils or tinted gels. One of the biggest questions I had, and I know many of you do too, is about its ease of use. The article mentioned needing a 'light hand,' and I can't stress that enough! This pen isn't like a regular eyebrow pencil where you can just draw heavily. The fine, multi-pronged tip is designed to mimic natural brow hairs, so you really want to use short, feathery strokes. Starting from the inner corner of your brow and working outwards, gently flick the pen upwards in the direction your hair naturally grows. If you press too hard, you'll definitely get that 'bleeding' effect, making your brows look blocky and unnatural. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, creating those perfect hair-like strokes makes a huge difference in the AFTER look compared to the BEFORE. Now, let's talk longevity. This is crucial for any brow product, right? I've found that the LOREAL FAUX BROW PEN holds up surprisingly well throughout my busy days. It doesn't smudge easily, even when I accidentally brush my hand against my brow. It's not completely waterproof, but it certainly resists sweat and humidity better than many traditional brow pencils I've tried. Compared to some tinted gels, which can sometimes get a bit crunchy or flake, this pen feels virtually weightless and comfortable. I appreciate that my brows still look defined and full even after several hours, without needing touch-ups. This makes a big difference in how confident I feel about my makeup lasting all day. Another common question is how this pen compares to other L'Oréal brow products, like their brow pencils or gels. A pencil, for instance, is fantastic for precise shaping and filling in larger gaps, but it often requires more blending to avoid a drawn-on look. Gels, on the other hand, are brilliant for taming unruly hairs and adding a subtle tint and hold, but they don't offer the same hair-like definition. The L'OREAL FAUX BROW pen truly bridges this gap. It allows for the intricate detail of individual hairs that pencils sometimes struggle with, while offering a natural finish that gels can't quite achieve on their own. For those who want the look of microbladed brows without the commitment, this pen is a fantastic alternative. To really get the most out of your LOREAL FAUX BROW PEN, here are a few extra tips: Always apply it to clean, dry brows. Any oils or moisturizers can prevent the product from adhering properly. Start with a tiny amount and build up the intensity; it’s always easier to add more than to take away. If you feel like you've gone a bit too heavy, a clean spoolie brush can help diffuse the color and make it look more natural. I often use a spoolie both BEFORE and AFTER application – BEFORE to brush my hairs into place, and AFTER to blend and soften any harsh lines. The transformation from a sparse BEFORE brow to a beautifully defined AFTER brow with this pen is truly impressive, making it a staple in my routine. It's all about finding that perfect balance for a stunning, yet natural, FAUX BROW effect.
