... Read moreHave you ever stopped to think about all the little (and big!) things that truly bring joy into your life? That's what the 'Things I Love' trend is all about, and honestly, it's such a wonderful way to boost your mood and practice gratitude! I've been seeing it pop up everywhere, and I just had to share my own list. It’s more than just a trend; it's a beautiful moment of self-reflection.
For me, it starts with the simple things, like the fresh flowers I pick up to brighten my space – they instantly make any room feel happier. Then there are the personal touches, like having my nails done; it's a small act of self-care that makes me feel put-together and confident. But beyond the material, my heart is truly filled by my amazing friends. They're my cheerleaders, my confidantes, and the source of so much laughter. And of course, my furry companions, my dogs, bring an unparalleled amount of unconditional love and joy to my everyday. Who else agrees that pet love is the best love?
Food is another huge one! There’s nothing quite like indulging in yummy food. Whether it’s trying a new recipe or revisiting an old comfort dish, good food just makes everything better. And speaking of comforts, my weekly trips to Trader Joe's are practically a ritual. I always find something new and exciting there, plus all my staples that make healthy eating a breeze.
It's not all treats and leisure, though. I've found so much strength and clarity at the gym. It's become my sanctuary, a place to challenge myself and release stress. And complementing that, spending time in nature is incredibly grounding. A walk in the park or a hike in the woods instantly recharges my batteries.
On a more personal note, my boyf is definitely on my list – he brings so much happiness and support into my life, making every day an adventure. And recently, I've been absolutely engrossed in this book I'm reading; it's one of those stories that just transports you.
If you're thinking of joining this trend, I highly recommend it! It’s a fantastic exercise in appreciating what you have. Don't feel pressured to make your list perfect; just jot down whatever comes to mind that sparks joy. It could be anything from your morning coffee ritual to a favorite song, a cozy blanket, or even a specific memory. Share a photo or a quick video explaining why these things are special to you. It's a great way to connect with others and discover shared interests. What are some of the things you'd put on your 'Things I Love' list? I'd love to hear them!
